Cyriel Dessers has said he is thrilled that even though he has found first-team appearances tough to come by this season, he could still score the winner at Anderlecht to keep Genk championship hopes alive.

Genk beat hosts Anderlecht 2-1 to narrow the gap with leaders Club Brugge to just two points.
Club Brugge host Antwerp later today.
Dessers, who last scored in the league last October, spoke about what it meant to keep his team in the title race.
“Yes, this is very satisfying. I had to wait a long time for it,” a visibly excited Dessers told Eleven Sports.
“I could only show myself during brief appearances.
“If you can make a difference then that is always nice. I must admit that I walked on the tips of my toes, but now I am still being rewarded.”
Dessers, who has been kept out of the Genk first team by the form of Goal King Paul Onuachu, has now netted five goals in the league with three assists in 32 appearances.
