Wilfred Ndidi has dedicated Leicester City’s first-ever FA Cup triumph to his daughter, who recently celebrated her birthday.
Ndidi posted a solid performance for Leicester City to pip Chelsea 1-0 Saturday at Wembley for their first Cup conquest after four failed attempts previously.
His daughter wished him good luck ahead of the Cup Final and afterwards he tweeted the victory was a perfect birthday gift for her.
He was also excited to get the fans back at the stadium after Coronavirus restrictions were relaxed to allow as many as 21,000 spectators for the showpiece event.
This is Ndidi’s first major trophy in Europe.
