Genk striker Paul Onuachu tonight fired his 33rd goal in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League in a championship playoff at Anderlecht, while teammate Cyriel Dessers came off the bench to produce the match winner.
Onuachu has so far scored in all four playoff games.
The giant striker opened scoring in the 16th minute, before visiting Genk were pegged back after half an hour.
However, Genk will push playoff leaders Club Brugge for the championship after substitute Dessers fired the winner four minutes from time.
Ironically, the red-hot form of Onuachu has consigned fellow Super Eagles striker Dessers to the bench.
Tonight’s win means Genk has cut back to two points Club Brugge lead in the championship playoffs.
Club Brugge face Antwerp in continuation of the playoffs tomorrow.
