As first reported by SCORENigeria, Vice President Kashim Shettima will be the man to lead the Federal Government delegation to tomorrow’s AFCON Final.
And the question now is – will he dash down to the dressing room should the game drag into penalties as was the case against South Africa?
It was learnt that the Vice President could not stomach the tension caused by the penalty shootout against South Africa Wednesday night in Bouake and so he sought refuge in the Super Eagles dressing room after which he rejoiced with the team when they eventually won.
Kick-off tomorrow is 9pm at the 60,000-capacity Alassane Quattara Olympic Stadium in Abidjan.
