Waco Academy are the new champions of the FCT FA League after they outclassed Winco Foam FC 3-1 in the championship final at a packed Area 3 Sports Ground in Abuja.
Waco showed they mean business in Monday’s final when they raced in front after just 17 minutes through skipper Enock Tanimu.
They doubled their lead three minutes later when Odama Ebiruku hit target, before John Silas made it 3-0 on 47 minutes.
Winco pulled a goal back in the 55th minute through Kingsley Chinedu, but it only proved to be a face-saving goal.
Abees FA won the losers’ final at the expense of Basic Maracana.
