For tonight’s clash against Italy, coach Ladan Bosso has made only one change to his starting XI from Sunday’s match with AC Milan youngster Victor Eletu starting for the Flying Eagles ahead of Tochukwu Nnadi.
That means match winner against the Dominican Republic Samson Lawal keeps his place as the attacking midfielder with Daniel Daga and Eletu the two defensive midfield pivots.
Due to his late arrival in Argentina, Eletu only managed a cameo role versus the Dominican Republic at the weekend.
Mavlon FC young striker Salim Fago has also kept his starting place ahead of Bulgaria-based Emmanuel Umeh.
Injury forced out Fago from the match against the Dominican Republic, but officials always said it will not keep him out.
Flying Eagles Starting XI vs Italy (4-3-3):
Aniagboso – Agbalaka, Bameyi (Captain), Frederick, Ogwuche – Daga, Eletu, Lawal – Jude Sunday, Fago, Ibrahim Mohammed
