The United Soccer League has announced that all teams across the USL Championship and USL League One will this weekend hold a moment of silence in memory of Austin Bold FC forward Promise Isaac before kick-offs.
USL further announced that the game between Austin Bold FC and Real Monarchs SLC, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 5, has been postponed to Wednesday, October 16, following the passing of the former Nigeria U17 and U20 international captain Wednesday night.
The 31-year-old forward reportedly died of a heart attack.
He is survived by a wife and three children, who are based in Atlanta.
