Benfica defender Tyronne Ebuehi has replaced injured Kenneth Omeruo on the Super Eagles squad for the forthcoming friendly against Brazil, the Nigeria Football Federation have announced.
Omeruo was injured in action for La Liga club CD Leganes.
The former Chelsea central defender also missed last month’s friendly against Ukraine as he was then trying to regularise his papers in Spain.
Ebuehi, on the other hand, has recovered from a long-term injury he suffered at his Portuguese club.
The Eagles take on five-time world champions Brazil at the National Stadium in Singapore on October 13.
It will be the second time both countries will clash at this level after Brazil beat Nigeria 3-0 in a first-ever meeting in June 2003 in Abuja.
