Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba has told SCORENigeria his team will take on Japan and South Korea in warm-up games ahead of the U17 World Cup in Brazil.
On Wednesday, the Eaglets will fly out to Sao Paulo, where they will set up training camp and play test games against Japan, South Korea and Sao Paulo FC.
“The three friendly matches will help us properly ascertain our final 21-man list (for the World Cup) even though we already have an idea,” coach Manu said.
Manu also said the team have been lifted by the visit today of sports minister Sunday Dare.
“His visit is one of the best things to happen to us as he gave us his word that all our needs will be met before and while we are in Brazil,” he said.
The Eaglets will begin their quest for a sixth World Cup on October 26 against Hungary.
Australia and Ecuador are the other teams in Group B.
