Bordeaux coach has said Samuel Kalu is worried after he suffered a new injury setback that may rule him out of Sunday’s home game against Brest.
Kalu only recently returned from a month’s layoff after he was sidelined by a hamstring injury on the left thigh.
He has now suffered another problem on his right leg.
“His hamstring problem was practically sorted,” said Bordeaux Jean-Louis Gasset, “He experienced this Friday morning a small setback on the right quadriceps.
“It is true that he is worried. He dreads the injury. It’s okay, but we’ll have to be patient.
“Maybe we should be careful with him, we’ll see tomorrow (Saturday).”
