Gernot Rohr has revealed his top scout watched Liberia in three matches against Tunisia and Algeria in June for the Super Eagles to have enough information on their opponents in tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier.
The Eagles coach disclosed that his scout, Nabil Trabelsi, watched the Lone Star take on Tunisia twice in a friendly before they also faced Algeria.
“They are a good team with some of their players at big clubs like Slavia Praha, in Switzerland and a centre-forward, who plays in Malaysia,” Rohr said.
The Eagles also played a ceremonial friendly with the Lone Star in Monrovia a few years ago.
He has already warned that the Liberians have enjoyed a good preparation and cannot be underrated.
