Promise David, who opted for Canada instead of the Super Eagles, appears to be well and truly on his way out of Belgian club Union St.Gilloise with the striker confirming a transfer on social media.
David played for co-hosts Canada at the recent 2026 World Cup and in a remarkable interaction with a Canadian supporter on social media, the Union striker seems to confirm that he is moving to German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart.
“If this transfer goes through, I hope he gets a lot of playing time and I’m buying a Stuttgart shirt with his name on it,” someone wrote on Instagram.
To which former Nigeria U23 star Promise David replied via his official account: “Buy it now.”
