Bright Osayi-Samuel was flown into Belgium by a private jet ahead of completing a transfer to champions Club Brugge from English Championship side QPR.
He landed in Ostend Tuesday afternoon from London.
QPR have accepted Club Brugge offer of five million Euros for the winger and it is now left for the player, who has Nigerian roots and holds an English passport, to agree personal terms and undergo a routine medical.
Several media reports had suggested the 22-year-old Osayi-Samuel was hedging on quitting his comfort zone in England for a new adventure in Belgium while hoping for a Premier League club to come in for him.
Leicester City were reported to be one of the teams interested in the exciting winger before Club Brugge stepped in.
