Leke James may still not have a contract, but that has not stopped him from adding to his tally after he fired his third goal of the season for champions Molde FK to win 3-0 at Haugesund.
James was on target in the 78th minute.
He scored 15 goals last season to help crown Molde champions of Norway.
The striker’s future remains uncertain after his contract ended on July 1.
He has attracted offers from outside Norway, but nothing has yet been formalised.
The big win on the road consolidated Molde’s leadership of the table as they have 19 points from seven matches.
“Amazing effort for three more points,” an elated James saluted after the big win.
