Victor Osimhen wants double what he currently earns for him to agree an extension to his contract at Serie A champions Napoli.
The Super Eagles striker pockets about Four Million Euros annually after tax, but various reports said he now wants to be paid at least Seven Million Euros.
Napoli, in turn, want to insert a hefty release clause of 200 Million Euros on this new contract.
Shared image rights between the club and the striker would also bring the parties closer to an agreement.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has said the player has agreed in principle to extend his contract by two years.
His current contract runs out June 2025.
Osimhen has been a subject of serious transfer speculations after his goals crowned Napoli champions of Italy for the first time in 33 years this past season.
Top clubs like PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the 24-year-old striker.
Osimhen latest valuation on Transfermarkt is 120 Million Euros, while Napoli reportedly now want 180 Million Euros for the player.
