Victor Osimhen will not be back in action for Napoli before Christmas after he returned to Belgium to continue his rehabilitation following a shoulder injury.
The former striker of Belgian club Sporting Charleroi will now work with Belgium national team physio Lieven Maesschalck, who has previously helped another Napoli star Dries Mertens.
Osimhen last featured for Napoli on November 8.
He injured his shoulder during an AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone in Benin City last month.
Napoli insisted the injury was worsened by the medical staff of the Super Eagles even though Osimhen himself disagreed.
