Paul Onuachu is expected to play a pre-season friendly for KRC Genk against Excelsior tomorrow after he tested negative for Covid-19.
Last week, Onuachu sent shock waves after he tested positive for the disease after he returned from a short break in Nigeria.
He quarantined for a week thereafter.
“By Friday he will just train with the group,” coach Hannes Wolf told Het Nieuwsblad.
“Paul can also compete against Excelsior on Friday in the test match.”
More cheering news is that the rest of the Genk squad also tested negative for Covid-19.
