Anthony Okpotu’s million Dollar transfer to Qatar Sports Club has been finalised after an agreement was reached with his Tunisian club US Monastir.
Okpotu has signed a three-year contract with the Doha club after they met the $1.2 million valuation of USM.
He still had a year on his contract in Tunisia.
The CHAN Eagles star is now expected to join his new club as soon as he returns a negative Coronavirus result after he tested positive recently.
Okpotu finished Goal King of the Tunisian league with 13 goals.
Modest Monastir finished third in the league and also upstaged champions Esperance to clinch a first-ever Tunisian Cup.
The former Lobi Stars striker has previously played in Libya, Morocco and Albania.
