Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen today announced they have signed Victor Boniface on a five-year contract from Belgian club Union St.Gilloise.
This was after the 22-year-old striker passed a routine medical today.
He has been handed jersey No 22.
The deal is reported to be over 20 Million Euros.
This makes him the record outgoing transfer by Union.
Last summer, Union paid Two Million Euros to sign him from Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt.
The big centre-forward, who is awaiting his Super Eagles call-up after he has been capped at U20 level, scored against Leverkusen in the quarterfinal of the Europa Cup last season.
He finished joint top scorer of the Europa League with six goals and two assists.
