Anthony Nwakaeme has maintained Trabzonspor will not stop fighting until they are crowned champions of Turkey.
Nwakaeme scored the winning goal with a last-gasp penalty and also gave an assist for Trabzonspor to increase their lead at the top of the table by 17 points on the back of a 3-2 win against Kayserispor.
It was a remarkable comeback win for the league leaders as they were down 2-0 after the first half.
“We will not stop fighting until we have the championship in our own hands,” declared 32-year-old Nwakaeme.
“We showed that in this match. We won with a penalty goal at the last second.
“Kayserispor made a good start. But the end is more important than the beginning. We finished well.”
Trabzonspor last won the Turkish league in the 1983/84 season.
