Tonight in Rabat, Morocco, the Flamingos of Nigeria made history by becoming the first African team to win the U17 Women’s World Cup.
They beat Japan 2-1 in a thrilling final.
This is was such an audacious chip from Oluebube Umejiaku to put the Flamingos 2-0 up against Japan. After missing that chance in the first half, she atoned for it with a more brilliant goal!! She was so confident here 👏👏 https://t.co/IyUmihwCtT
