The Golden Eaglets are now through to next year’s U17 AFCON after finalists at the WAFU B Cote d’Ivoire were named as hosts of the tournament, according to the NFF.
As hosts, Cote d’Ivoire have automatically qualified for the tournament and this therefore frees another space for a team from WAFU B and in this case it will be the Golden Eaglets, who finished a third best team.
The Eaglets beat hosts Ghana 3-2 tonight
The NFF announced that no matter the result of the WAFU B final between Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso, Nigeria have thus advanced to next year’s U17 AFCON.
They will win the cup.
Stop hyping the achievement of our players. Once they hear accolades fumbling becomes their tea. The match between golden eaglets and vote de’voir did not reflect the standard of good football known of golden eaglets in that tournament.
In another development, Super eagles are trailing behind South Africa we hope to topple them with only two points. Nigeria NFF, please make Una plan ahead another world cup.
Bad omen our Telisman is injured.
