Former Super Eagles star who rose to become a sports director in Europe, Seyi Olofinjana, has said the NFF do not trust Finidi George as Super Eagles coach and hence the short contract they gave him.
Finidi has been given a year’s contract with an option for an additional year.
“I don’t think the NFF trust Finidi George, if not they would have given him a contract of four, five years,” Olofinjana said on SuperSport TV programme Monday Night Football.
“Probably this is so because of the experience Finidi has at this level because it is not Enyimba.”
However, NFF president Ibrahim Gusau said they have faith for the new Super Eagles coach to succeed.
“Finidi George was part of the technical crew that came close to winning the AFCON, and we have faith in him that he will lead the team to the title next time,” he said.

I am fine with Amokachi as part of the new crew member of the super eagles, hopefully they will come through all the tack giving to them in Jesus name amen.
