Wilfred Ndidi has returned to training with Leicester City after a groin injury that needed surgery.
Ndidi was injured in September and was expected to be sidelined for at least 12 weeks.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder suffered the injury during Leicester City 4-2 win over Burnley.
Last season, he missed five weeks of action after a knee injury.
In his absence, the Super Eagles, for one, have struggled.
The Eagles failed to win a match in 2020 after draws with Sierra Leone twice and Tunisia as well as a loss to African champions Algeria.
