These are most certainly tough days for Gernot Rohr after sports minister Sunday Dare again questioned the competence of the coach following the Super Eagles disappointing showing against Sierra Leone in a double-header AFCON qualifier.
The performance of the Super Eagles from their last two matches calls to question the suitability and competences of Technical Adviser, Rohr. Nigerian football deserves better. The needful will be done. Apologies to all football lovers.

The Eagles blew away a four-goal lead to be forced to a 4-4 draw by the 120th-ranked Leone Stars in Benin City last Friday, before they were held to a scoreless draw by the same team on Tuesday.
Dare has always maintained that Nigeria deserve a top coach to lead the Eagles to glory, arguing that a situation where the players are more sound technically than their coach is unacceptable.
He again restated this position on social media today.
“The performance of the Super Eagles from their last two matches calls to question the suitability and competences of Technical Adviser, Rohr,” Dare tweeted.
“Nigerian football deserves better.
“The needful will be done.
“Apologies to all football lovers.”
Rohr only recently signed a new two-year contract, which pays him $45,000 monthly.
