Napoli made the announcement via their official Twitter handle – “Osimhen recovered from Covid-19”.
He was reported to have contacted the disease during a party in Lagos, where video clips showed him having fun without observing Coronavirus measures.
The Super Eagles striker last played for Napoli on November 8 at Bologna, where he was the match winner, before he suffered a shoulder dislocation on duty for Nigeria against Sierra Leone.
He has scored twice in six appearances in the league since his record-breaking transfer from Ligue 1 side Lille.
