Club Brugge Philippe Clement has spoken on transfer speculations surrounding Emmanuel Dennis by saying he expects the Nigeria winger to be available for selection while not ruling out a departure.
“He has trained with the group again. For me it is simple. I try to get the most out of every player who is at the club until the last minute. Only one good training is not enough”, the Club Brugge coach told Het Laatste Nieuws.
“We want to see this longer. And then we will see whether Dennis is still here on February 1 (when the transfer window closes) or not.”
League leaders Club Brugge welcome closest rivals Genk on Sunday.
Dennis last played for the Belgian champions on December 5 in a 1-0 home win over Sint-Truiden.
He has made nine appearances in the league this season and has yet to score.
