Moses Ogbu has moved closer to joining Chinese club Chengdu Better City after his harvest of goals in Sweden last season, according to media reports.
Ogbu, 29, fired 14 goals and provided two assists in 25 matches for Mjallby AIF last season.
He chose not to extend his contract with the club with his agent saying he needed to cash in on the goals he scored.
His previous club were Grimsby Town in England, but he broke his contract last year to return to Sweden a free agent.
Chengdu Better City feature in the Chinese second division.
