Swede coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren will now be in charge of Ghana, both the men and women’s teams.
Björkegren became the national team coach for Ghana women in January 2025 – and now it seems he will be the same for the men.

The choice fell on Kim Björkegren, according to several local media outlets.
The 44-year-old will be accompanied by Medeama head coach Ibrahim Tanko and the national team’s current assistant, Godwin Attram.
Björkegren will work with the women’s and men’s teams in parallel and the next match is against Somalia in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
