Former Super Eagles skipper Mikel Obi has been presented as captain of his new club Kuwait Sports Club.
The 34-year-old midfielder has signed a year’s deal with Kuwait SC after he mutually terminated his contract with English Championship side Stoke City.
His new club have also signed former West Brom and Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani.
They hope to reclaim the league championship they lost last season.
Next month they resume their campaign in the AFC Cup.
