Victor Osimhen was named Man of the Match after his brace lifted Napoli past Eintracht Frankfurt to the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League with the striker also expressing confidence of his team’s chances in the competition.
Napoli recorded an impressive 5-0 aggregate win over the German Bundesliga outfit to reach their first-ever Champions League quarterfinal.
“It was a huge, amazing win,” Osimhen remarked after the 3-0 victory over the German club in Naples Wednesday night.
“We are ready for it (Champions League quarterfinals).
“It is possible (to win the Champions League), but we will take it step by step and see how it goes.”
The Serie A leaders join seven other top clubs for the quarterfinal draw Friday.
Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Benfica, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City are the other quarterfinalists.
