Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has given reasons he would ask Manchester United to sign Harry Kane ahead of Victor Osimhen.
Sky Sport Germany has reported United will consider signing Osimhen instead of Kane in the summer.
It said this is because Osimhen is younger and will come in cheaper.
However, Thierry Henry said he would rather United choose Kane because he already knows the Premier League and he will not have to try to adapt to it like Osimhen would have to.
“He (Kane) knows the Premier League. If I were Man United, I will go for Kane,” he told CBS Sports
“It does not mean that Osimhen is not a good player, it has nothing to do with that.
“I think Osimhen can adapt to any league.
“But if I were United, I’d look at (it is) ok, this guy doesn’t have to adapt to anything, he’s got a way of dribbling and can allow Marcus Rashford to run behind him when he drops.
“Also, Kane can play anywhere.”
Kane, whose contract expires in 2024, has scored 22 goals and provided four assists in 38 competitive games this season.
Osimhen, who is under contract until 2025, has scored 23 goals and provided five assists in 28 competitive games this season.
