Abdulssalam Magashy scored his fifth goal of the season for Kristianstad FC to record a crucial 2-1 home win over Assiyriska Turabdin which has catapulted them out of the relegation zone.
Former FC Hearts midfielder Magashy, 21, hit target after just 11 minutes to inspire the home win on Sunday.
Last season, he managed only a goal playing mainly as a defensive midfielder.
Former FC Hearts stars Hassan Lawrence and Yusuf Sulaiman were also involved in the home win.
Kristianstad are now 12th on the table with 24 points from 22 matches, two points clear of the drop zone.
