The Nigeria U23s came together at the weekend to celebrate the 21st birthday of Russia-based winger Blessing Muyiwa Olabiran.
Olabiran clocked 21 Saturday and his Nigeria U23 teammates celebrated with him at their training camp in Asaba.
They sang a happy birthday song for the player, who spent his formative years in Abidjan before he departed Cote d’Ivoire to play professional football in Russia.
He was an integral part of the team who won promotion to the Russian Premier League with FC Tombov last season.
Olabiran was on parade for the Nigeria U23s in Sudan and will also be involved in the return leg in Asaba tomorrow as Nigeria seek to overturn a 1-0 loss.
