Norwegian club Lillestrom coach Geir Bakke has said he expects great things from recently signed striker Jerome Akor.
Akor,22, is one of six new signings by Lillestrom ahead of the new season in Norway.
The former Flying Eagles striker joined up as a free agent after he did not renew his contract with Norwegian second division club Sogndal.
“Akor is strong and a breakthrough-sharp striker – who can become even more dangerous,” remarked the Lillestrom coach.
“We want to get him up as much as possible in dangerous positions in front of goal.
“He is also important for us on both offensive and defensive set pieces with his physique.”
He fired 10 goals last season with Sogndal.
Akor got off to a flying start at Lillestrom when he grabbed a brace in a pre-season friendly against Stabaek last month.
The new season in Norway will kick off on Saturday, April 2 with Lillestrom away at HamKam.
