Late injuries to both goalkeeper Francis Uzoho and winger Peter Olayinka have meant several changes to the Super Eagles initial starting XI for today’s friendly against Cameroon.
Gernot Rohr himself announced that Uzoho will start tonight, but it has since been ascertained that he has a leg injury and as such Maduka Okoye will keep his place in the starting XI.
It is also a similar case with Peter Olayinka and Moses Simon, who was the Super Eagles best player in the first match.
Olayinka has also succumbed to a late injury and so Moses Simon will now start as he did in Friday’s game.
Everton ace Alex Iwobi has also been picked to start after he was initially consigned to the bench.
Adjusted Super Eagles Starting XI vs Cameroon:
Maduka Okoye – Jamilu Collins, Shehu Abdullahi, Valentine Ozornwafor, Chidozie Awaziem – Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa – Kelechi Iheanacho, Paul Onuachu
