The Netherlands now stand between Morocco and a place in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
Morocco, who famously finished fourth at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, will take on the Dutch on Monday, June 29 in Monterrey, Mexico.
The Atlas Lions finished second in Group C with seven points from three matches, same as winners Brazil but with an inferior goals difference.
The Netherlands won Group F with seven points and an impressive +7 goals difference.
Morocco coach Mohamed Ouahbi spent many years in the Anderlecht youth set-up and knows Dutch football well.
He said: “I don’t care who we will play, we will be ready.
“We have all the ingredients to be the best nation. I believe in it, and the players believe in it.”
