Isaac Success, once rated ahead of the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi, has looked back at his time at Premier League club Watford with a lot of regrets.
The striker joined Watford for a then club record of over 12 Million Pounds in 2016, but he failed to crack it in England leading to his departure to Italian club Udinese this summer.
He only managed six goals in 75 appearances for ‘The Hornets’.
“It wasn’t meant for me to work with the managers that passed through Watford,” Success told LiveScore
“I definitely made a few mistakes, but they (the club) did as well.
“It was difficult for me. I was young and I got carried away because I wasn’t playing.
“Now I’m older, I understand how it works and I have to keep working because the chance is going to come.”
