IK Start record signing Adeleke Akinyemi has said he has fully recovered after two surgeries and he could well make his comeback Wednesday against the team he first fractured his ankle.
IK Start splashed a record eight million Euros to snap the Nigerian striker from Latvia.
However, after a great start to life in Norway he suffered a major injury against Aalesund in 2019.
He has also had to undergo a groin surgery.
“I’m 100 percent ready now. I am ready for the next game, but it is up to the coach,” he told the newspaper Faedrelandsvennen
“If it had been left to me, I could have played by now.”
IK Start are desperate again for his goals following their return to the Norwegian top flight.
This season, they are yet to record a win in 10 matches – four losses and six draws.
