Odion Ighalo is ready to forgo half of his salary in China so as to stay put at Manchester United, according to media reports.
Ighalo has become an instant success at United and there are now strong indications his loan switch from China could now be made permanent.
The British tabloid The Sun said Ighalo will be open to receive half of his salary at Chinese club Shanghai Shensua come next season at United, the club he supported as a boy.
The striker is reportedly on 300,000 pounds a week in China.
His Chinese club will be ready to sell him for about 15 million pounds to United.
