The IFK Goteborg scout who took Alhassan Yusuf to the top Swedish club has made a bold prediction – the 20-year-old will become a great central midfielder.
“A ball winner and genius in one. There’s a bit to learn, that’s it, but he can really be great,” predicted IFK chief scout Olle Sultan.
“His development has been pretty amazing.
“I have believed in him very much all the time. He has learned on the way to becoming less naive.
“The touch is very nice and he is always so oriented and has such control on the ball.
“The press game is good and he is aggressive. When he eventually gets a little more power, he will be a good ball winner as well.
“In addition, he is a great guy who flows nicely in the group.”
Sultan spotted ‘Hasse’ at the 2017 Gothia Cup in Sweden and IFK Goteborg swung in ahead of fellow Swedish clubs BK Hacken and Hammarby to sign him when he turned 18.
