Barnsley head coach Valerien Ismael has stated that USA international Daryl Dike, who is also eligible to play for the Super Eagles, is set to debut for the English Championship club when they face Chelsea tomorrow in an FA Cup game.
Ismael said he believes that their weekend game against Derby County postponement will have a positive impact on Daryl Dike on his acclimatisation at the club and have more time on the training ground.
“He (Dike) will bring something new and is what we wanted and have now got,” he said.
“The postponement may be a good thing as the positive aspect from that is that he has recovered a lot from the travel from Orlando to Barnsley with the jetlag because the first few days were difficult.
“But now it is fine and he has adapted. He is more ready for (the last) two days and it is a good thing for us.”

Great article! Wishing Daryl all the success in the world with Barnsley.
