The Super Falcons lead home team Benin 2-0 in this 2026 WAFCON eliminator in Lome, Togo, but it has been nothing but an easy ride for the 10-time African champions.
Deborah Abiodun delivered the assist for striker Chinwendu Ihezuo to open scoring for the Super Falcons in the 24th minute.
Again, Abiodun provided the assist for Esther Okoronkwo doubled Nigeria’s lead in first half stoppage time when she went free of the Benin defence before she chipped past the onrushing goalkeeper.

Late in this half, the Benin danger woman again took on the Nigerian defence, her goal-bound shot was only pushed against the post by a diving Nnadozie.
