Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie saved three straight penalties for the Falconets to clinch Gold at the 2019 African Games 3-2 at the expense of Cameroon tonight in Rabat, Morocco.

Even after extra time, both teams had failed to score and so this final had to be decided by a penalty shootout.
Up stepped Super Falcons shot stopper Nnadozie to give Nigeria African Games Gold since 2007 after the Falconets missed two of their first three penalty kicks.
Nnadozie was also stretched by the Cameroonians in the second half as influential skipper Gift Monday was forced out soon after the restart.
Tomorrow their male counterparts, the Flying Eagles, will seek to make it another Gold when they battle Burkina Faso in the final.
