This morning the Future Eagles, the country’s U16 team, fell by the odd goal to their counterparts from the Netherlands at an invitational tournament in Japan.
The Dutch lads took an early lead following a rather nervous start by the Future Eagles led by coach Haruna Ilerika.
The Future Eagles stepped up their game in the second half, but could not get back on equal pegging.
They will also tackle hosts Japan and the USA at the International Dream Cup.
