There have been fresh twists to the story that the Spanish embassy denied the Nigeria U16s, the Future Eagles, entry visas for a UEFA tournament.
The embassy has refuted the claim of the NFF that the team were denied visas, saying instead the football federation withdrew from the trip.
However, in a swift response the spokesman of the football federation, Ademola Olajire, said at no time did the NFF withdraw from the trip.
He then made public the NFF letter to the embassy which clearly demanded that a protocol officer will collect the passports of the team on behalf of the football federation.
The tournament in Spain is scheduled between April 11 and 17.
