Yusuf Lawal, who is now a free agent after Lokeren declared bankruptcy, has been offered to another Belgian club Zulte-Waregem, SCORENigeria has learnt.
“He has been proposed to Zulte-Waregem. We wait to see what will happen because a lot of things have been slowed down by the Coronavirus Pandemic,” a source told SCORENigeria
The former 36 Lion left winger, who is fast and with a good dribble, joined Lokeren after successful trials two years ago.
This season, he made 13 league appearances for the club in the second division after they were relegated.
Lokeren plan to play in the amateur league after they merged with another club following their bankruptcy.
