FC Nantes hope to make a huge profit on Moses Simon, who celebrated the birth of his second daughter Friday, by buying him outrightly before selling him to another club.
Already Simon, who scored five goals and provided as many assists this past season in France, is now top of the wanted list of Lyon and Stade Rennes.
Simon, 24, shone on loan at FC Nantes from La Liga side UD Levante before the French Ligue 1 season was called off due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Media reports from France have now suggested that Nantes will be ready to buy him on a permanent basis from Levante for five million Euros as both clubs initially agreed.
They will then sell him for a huge profit to Lyon, who will play in the UEFA Champions League in the new season, or Rennes.
This is similar to the case with Victor Osimhen, who Belgian club Sporting Charleroi bought from Wolfsburg for 3.5 million Euros after a successful loan spell.
Charleroi will then sell the striker to Lille for 13 million Euros to register a huge profit on their investment.
