Franklin Tebo, who has been capped by the CHAN Eagles, has moved to Norwegian club Sarpsborg 08 from BK Hacken of Sweden.
The 23-year-old defender has signed a contract till the summer of 2027.
“Tebo has played a lot during the time with us but never managed to break into the starting XI permanently,” said BK Hacken sports director Martin Ericsson.
“Therefore, we have agreed on a transfer where he gets the chance to develop further.
“He is a centre-back with great potential where his good physique stands out. We thank him for a great time together and wish him the best of luck in his further career.”
Tebo himself said he moves to Norway a better player.
“I am extremely grateful for these two years. This was my first adventure abroad and it has made me grow as a person. It’s sad to leave, but that’s football and this move will be good for me,” he said.
“I really want to thank the club and all the people in and around BK Häcken. It’s been two amazing years, I really appreciate all the love everyone has shown me.
“I will miss all the players, managers and staff but hopefully we will see each other again. From the bottom of my heart – thank you.”
