Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga is now facing charges of “sexual conduct without consent” in Norway, his club have announced.
The 18-year-old Daga has therefore been stopped from training and playing matches for Norwegian club Molde FK.
The case was reported since April.
Court hearing will begin in March 2026.
The player admitted sexual contact, but insisted it was consensual.
Daga represented Nigeria at this year’s U20 World Cup in Chile, where the Flying Eagles were eliminated in the Round of 16.
